Fire-i™ Board camera monochrome version is introduced.
Only difference is CCD and firmware. Product name
differentiation is introduced:
- "Unibrain Fire-i™ 1.2" for full housed color model
- "Unibrain Fire-i™ BCL 1.2" for board color model, with M12x0.5 lens base
- "Unibrain Fire-i™ BBW 1.3" for board monochrome model, with M12x0.5 lens base
Full housed model can be modified by customer with a
M12x0.5 lens base, and can therefore accept different lenses than the standard original 4.65 mm |

Fire-i™ Board camera color RAW version is introduced. CCD
is color but camera streams each pixel value in 8 bit
like monochrome. There is no color processing inside the
camera, user is free to select any algorithm for color
reconstruction on computer side, based on Bayer array.
